Today kindergarteners from Miss Grossman's class had a special guest come visit. Kyle Amtmanis, a student from Middletown High School's Vo-Ag department, came in to talk to students about chickens. Students were introduced to Charlie the Chicken (a stuffed animal) to learn different parts of a chicken. Kyle also brought in pictures to show where they lived, what they ate and the difference between a hen and a rooster. 
At the end of Kyle's lesson, students had the opportunity to eat hard boiled eggs from the chickens that Kyle raises in his back yard!
