Mr. Ferrero's class learned about East Asia on a recent field trip to Wesleyan University. Through the Wesleyan Outreach Program, our students learned about the culture of this far away region of the world.
Students learned soranbushi, a Japanese dance that told a story about fishing.
Then they learned the ancient art of origami.
Finally they practiced calligraphy as they learned about and drew Chinese characters.
All students had a great time! Learning is fun at Macdonough School!
